Welcome to Ellicott City, the county seat of local government in Howard County, Maryland! The historic district of Ellicott City was founded in 1772 and boasts the oldest standing B & O railroad station. This town is nestled in the Patapsco Valley, and is home to unique shops, historic sites, and distinctive dining options. This town is conveniently located in between Baltimore and Washington, D.C. and less than an hour from both Frederick and Annapolis.
