The Friday blog series, "Welcome to Our Town/City", introduces you to different towns/areas in Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia. When contemplating purchasing a new home, it's always good to do your research on the area. We hope this blog helps you to choose your forever home in a fun and exciting town that you love...and when you find it, give us a call to discuss your financing options.
Welcome to Baltimore, the largest city in Maryland, and the 29th-most populous city in the country. Founded in 1729, Baltimore is the second largest seaport in the Mid-Atlantic. Fort McHenry, birthplace of the U.S. national anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner”, sits at the mouth of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. This harbor area offers unique shops, upscale eateries, and attractions like the Civil War-era warship the USS Constellation, the National Aquarium, and the Maryland Science Center. Here you will find just a few of our favorite spaces and places in this great city!
